Introduction to Quantum Computing

The new 2 half day masterclass Introduction to Quantum Computing starts on 24 November. Quantum computers provide a fundamentally new set of tools that can help us solve some of the world’s most difficult challenges. Many enterprises and companies are already investigating how to deal with this technology. What will the impact of quantum be on your organisation? What can we use quantum for, and when can we start using it? What is its impact on data security? And which steps should your organisation take to prepare for quantum? For now we do not have dates planned for this course in 2023. Please fill out the below 'keep me informed' form if you want to stay updated on this masterclass.

During this 2-day masterclass, you will hear from the Netherlands’ most prominent scientists, thought leaders and entrepreneurs who will share their knowledge of quantum technology. After the masterclass, you will be well-equipped to make strategic decisions that will help you reap the  benefits of this technology and manage its risks.

Why join the Introduction to Quantum Computing masterclass?
  • What will you learn?

After finishing the masterclass, you will be able to:

    • Identify the most promising business cases of quantum technology in your sector.
    • Understand the threat that quantum poses to today’s cryptography, and which steps must be taken to avert security breaches.
    • Estimate timelines to indicate when quantum technology will be commercially relevant.
    • Discuss concrete steps your organisation can take.

The masterclass covers the entire field, from the applications of quantum computers and the quantum internet to quantum sensors.

  • For whom?

This masterclass is designed for professionals working for businesses or governments, and who need to be aware and well-informed of new innovations in IT, security and network technology. This includes:

    • Managers and staff of IT/security departments
    • Innovation and technology experts
    • Strategy and policy makers
    • Consultants
    • Entrepreneurs

No prior knowledge of quantum technology is required. You also do not need any in-depth knowledge of mathematics or physics. The masterclass is particularly well-suited for those involved in organisations and departments that rely heavily on ICT processes and well-optimised business operations. Examples include logistics, security, data science, finance, consultancy, health, business analytics and fintech.
