Why choose the Hybrid MBA?
-
Blended learning experience
The Hybrid MBA gives you the freedom to follow all classes live from home, with a fully interactive experience. You can actively participate by making contributions and asking questions during class.
When it comes to your personal development, we believe face-to-face contact is most valuable. The on-campus parts of this MBA are multiple networking events and the Amsterdam Leadership Programme®, in which you will develop leadership skills. The international study trip to Cape Town, South Africa, will give you the opportunity to bond with fellow students while broadening your knowledge of international markets.
The Hybrid MBA is a part-time programme with 2 evening classes per week. It takes 24 months and starts in September.
-
Interact with on-campus students
You will work together on team projects with a mix of students of the hybrid MBA and on-campus MBA, all with different backgrounds and from a wide variety of industries. Working together in these small and diverse groups has proven itself to maximise your learning potential.
On-campus students are taking part in the Amsterdam MBA, our on-campus MBA programme.
-
Expand your professional network
Get connected to our devoted academic experts, who are always up to date with the latest scientific developments and contribute to their fields by conducting academic research. Furthermore, you will get to know business executives, who will share their industry experiences during guest lectures.
During your MBA, you will be involved in our international alumni community and you will have the opportunity to attend networking events. This way, it will be easy to get in touch with alumni who work at leading national and international companies.
-
Customised career guidance
When graduating from the Hybrid MBA, we want to make sure you have access to the career opportunities that suit your aspirations. During the 24 months of the programme, our Careers Office provides personal guidance by offering individual coaching sessions. You have access to a variety of career workshops and will get to know the industry by attending in-company events.
-
Internationally recognised MBA title
Earning your MBA title at the Amsterdam Business School means you will have studied at one of the best business schools in the world:
- We belong to the 1% of business schools worldwide that are Triple Crown accredited.
- We are part of the University of Amsterdam, one of the few Dutch universities ranked in the global top 100 of QS Rankings and the Times Higher Education World University Ranking.
Joep Schreuders: 'After 15 years of work experience, it is very refreshing to go back to university. The lectures in this MBA programme focus on practical cases from the business world, partly through guest lectures, and are related to the latest scientific insights. The hybrid MBA is well organised. The online learning environment and the online lectures are of good quality and there is sufficient interaction between the teacher and the students.'
