This one-week educational programme explores Amsterdam’s dynamic startup and innovation ecosystem—one of the most vibrant in Europe. Hosted by the University of Amsterdam’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation section, the trip is designed for students and staff from international universities.

 What to Expect

Over a week, you'll dive into the Amsterdam entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. The program combines interactive lectures and workshops at the University of Amsterdam with curated visits to startups, scale-ups, and innovation hubs. You will also meet guest speakers from leading Dutch ventures and public organisations, offering a direct window into the forces shaping the local startup landscape.

• Explore Amsterdam’s innovation ecosystem: Get an inside look at startups in AI, sustainability, deep tech and creative industries.
• Learn from the people building the future: Hear directly from founders, investors and policymakers driving entrepreneurship in the Netherlands.
• Connect theory with practice: Apply what you learn through startup visits, pitches, workshops and peer discussions.
