This one-week educational programme explores Amsterdam’s dynamic startup and innovation ecosystem—one of the most vibrant in Europe. Hosted by the University of Amsterdam’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation section, the trip is designed for students and staff from international universities.
Over a week, you'll dive into the Amsterdam entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. The program combines interactive lectures and workshops at the University of Amsterdam with curated visits to startups, scale-ups, and innovation hubs. You will also meet guest speakers from leading Dutch ventures and public organisations, offering a direct window into the forces shaping the local startup landscape.
Amsterdam is one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs. From deep tech to social entrepreneurship, the city is a hotspot of ideas and action. Its compact size, international mindset, and strong connections between academia, government, and business make it an ideal environment to explore innovation in practice.
What struck me was the open and collaborative culture. In Amsterdam, entrepreneurs share ideas freely—even with competitors. That mindset really challenged how I thought about startups.Audrey Chen, NTU Singapore
