Masterclass

Further develop your mentoring and coaching skills. This masterclass updates you on the scientific basis and best practices of startup coaching and mentoring. It focuses on startup mentoring in the context of entrepreneurship programmes such as incubators and accelerators. Between the 2 sessions of this masterclass, you will mentor a startup of your own choice. This way, you can immediately apply the skills that you have learned.

For whom?

This masterclass is designed for startup coaches and startup mentors. In particular those working in the context of an entrepreneurship programme, such as a startup incubator or accelerator. You need to have demonstrable aspirations or prior experience in mentoring startups.

What will you learn?

At the end of the masterclass, you will: 

  1. have a solid understanding of your role as startup mentor in entrepreneurship programmes; 
  2. know how to build an effective relationship with startups and be able to give effective feedback; 
  3. know about team-level conflict management strategies and understand startup challenges in different growth phases; 
  4. be familiar with startup growth methods used in incubator and accelerator programmes; 
  5. be aware of potential ethical dilemmas in mentoring startups.
