‘The masterclass provides useful insights into self-reflection and helps you become more aware of how you feel and react when facing conflict—awareness that can ultimately influence the outcome.’

'I believe that managing conflict is a valuable life skill that benefits everyone, both personally and professionally. In my role as Director of Operations, I work with a large team, which often involves navigating different viewpoints and challenges. That’s why I felt this Conflict Management masterclass would be beneficial.

I enjoyed studying at the Amsterdam Business School. The location was excellent and easy to find your way around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas with others in a fresh, bright atmosphere that encouraged open discussion and learning.

My key takeaway from the masterclass is the importance of being mindful of both others’ emotions and my own. I also found it valuable to learn that reacting based on initial feelings is often unproductive, as it can lead to unfavourable outcomes.

Associate Professor Dr. Richard Ronay was a knowledgeable and engaging teacher. The group was fortunate to have him lead the programme. He encouraged thoughtful discussion and participation among participants from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. The role-play exercises were well-structured and added meaningful depth to the learning experience.

For those in my profession who are not yet sure whether to participate in the masterclass, I would say that the combination of preparation through the pre-learning materials and the two-day session is time well spent. It provides useful insights into self-reflection and helps you become more aware of how you feel and react when facing conflict—awareness that can ultimately influence the outcome.

The programme was well-prepared and thoughtfully paced. Thank you for that. One idea to enhance it even further would be to make the theory sessions a bit more concise and incorporate more role-play exercises, including some individual ones, to deepen the practical experience.'
