Upon successful completion of the Post-Master APC, you will meet all the educational requirements of the Dutch professional association the Royal Actuarial Association (KAG). Members are entitled to use the title ‘Actuaris AG’ (AAG). The title AAG adds significant value: it guarantees specialisation, adherence to professional standards, and up-to-date industry knowledge.
Earning your degree at Amsterdam Business School means that you studied at one of the best business schools in the world. We belong to the 1% of business schools worldwide to be Triple Crown accredited. Additionally, we are part of the University of Amsterdam. One of the few Dutch universities ranked in the global top 100 of QS Rankings and the Times Higher Education World University Ranking.
During the programme, you will meet fellow professionals, with whom you will build a close network. After completing the programme, you will continue to meet your fellow students as an alumnus. There is an active LinkedIn group with an Alumni think tank that organises an Alumni seminar twice a year. A pleasant way to keep up with developments and work on your continuing education.
You can also attend seminars hosted by the UvA, such as those organised by the Amsterdam Centre for Insurance Study ACIS or the Research Centre of Longevity Risk.
The APC is practice-oriented and supports my daily work. For me, developing ‘leadership’ competences and skills provides a solid foundation for my further development as a professional. The programme has also placed significant emphasis on data analysis and its interpretation, combined with business knowledge.Loes de Boer, CEO DL Network Analytics, member APC advisory board, member AG board
