This programme is specifically designed for audit professionals working in a relevant field. It is suitable for IT auditors, external auditors, internal auditors, consultants and managers.

What will you learn?

  1. You will deepen your knowledge of management information systems and internal control.  
  2. You will gain insights into models for hard and soft controls, as well as governance, risk and compliance. 
  3. You will learn about the latest developments in system maintenance, DevOps, management and operation of information systems, sourcing, information security, ERP systems and infrastructures. 
  4. You will develop the ability to analyse processes, information systems and infrastructures, and assess business processes based on hard data. 
  5. You will be able to report your recommendations with impact and provide solutions and advice on managing information technology.

Degree certificate

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive the following degree certificate from the University of Amsterdam: Executive Master of Science of Auditing Studies with a specialisation in Digital Auditing. 

  • Title of Registered EDP Auditor (RE)

    Digital Auditing (Executive MSc of Auditing Studies) is recognised by the Dutch Order of Registered EDP Auditors (NOREA). Upon completing the programme and meeting NOREA’s registration requirements, you will earn the protected professional title ‘Registered EDP Auditor’ and may add ‘RE’ to your name. Only NOREA can grant this protected professional title.

In the first year, you will attend lectures alongside students from the Internal Auditing and Sustainability tracks, offering you a broad perspective on the auditing field.
