People Analytics for Managers

People analytics is a data-driven approach to workforce management, that can help us to influence important business outcomes. Companies use it to understand workforce productivity drivers, to improve employee experience, to create a diverse and inclusive culture, or to reduce employee turnover. Mastering people analytics has also become an important skill to improve managerial decision making. This masterclass will help you to grow as a business professional or sponsor, and it can help you lead people analytics projects which will add value to the business. It will take place on 28 and 29 November.

In order to optimise organisational efficiency and improve people-related decisions, managers in both business and HR need to know how to systematically analyse and interpret people-related data, and how to use people analytics to add (strategic) value to the organisation. This masterclass provides you with the tools to use data to inform and improve people-related decision making that impacts business results.

Through a combination of (hands-on) working on a business simulation game and supporting lectures, we will walk through the different steps involved in people analytics projects, from identifying relevant business problems, to identifying and analysing the data, and presenting the results. You will also learn about the journey of building people analytics capabilities at your company.

On day 1, the foundations of people analytics will be introduced. On day 2, you will be part of a business simulation game, making the topics discussed on day 1 more tangible.
