One of the highlights of the ranking is that the ABS Executive MBA (EMBA) is ranked at number 52 in Europe. ‘This achievement reflects our institution's ongoing commitment to excellence in business education’, said EMBA programme director Sebastian Kortmann.
Some of the criteria assessed in the ranking include the salary increase of graduates and the degree of diversity at the institution. The latter looks at the ratio of female academic staff and the international composition of the teaching and research staff. The Financial Times ranking also takes into account a research component (the number of academic publications) and surveys of graduates from every business school’s programmes.
