Programme

Our focus is on developing 21st century ESG skills and capabilities, specifically in transformation, stakeholder management, and communication. The programme enables you to acquire comprehensive expertise in ESG and acquire practical skills and abilities to actively participate in policymaking, transformation, accounting, reporting, and auditing. By completing our programme, you will become a proficient ESG specialist.

Curriculum

The ESG Academy programme is organised into 4 blocks of 7 weeks each, spread across 2 semesters. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of essential ESG concepts, principles, and practices, as well as practical skills and capabilities necessary to contribute to sustainable development.

  • ESG Principles
    3

    Gain an introduction to the primary Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics, their interrelationships and the global challenges ahead.

  • ESG Advanced – Environment
    3

    Delve into the 5 key environmental topics outlined in the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

  • ESG Skills I & II
    4

    Learn how to implement ESG principles and behaviours to drive organisational transformation toward sustainability.

  • ESG Accounting and Reporting I & II

    Develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate ESG accounting systems and reporting in compliance with relevant regulations, e.g. Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

  • ESG Advanced – Social

    Develop a solid understanding of core concepts, theories, practices and approaches to social sustainability.

  • ESG Advanced – Governance

    Gain a foundational understanding of corporate governance and stay informed about recent developments.

    Explore the trends, standards, terminology, core concepts, approaches, practices and challenges associated with external assurance in ESG reporting.
