Selected organisations will work directly with top data experts and tools from universities and technology partners including TomTom, EY, Gurobi, OMP and AEB.
Only 17% of the Sustainable Development Goals are on track for 2030. ABW demonstrates how data and AI can accelerate progress by building solutions together and training teams to continue independently.
With The Ocean Cleanup, ABW (with researchers from London Business School and the University of Amsterdam, and ORTEC software engineers) built a predictive and prescriptive analytics model. The result: a potential reduction of the clean-up horizon from 10 years / $7.5bn to 5 years / $4bn.
Five organisations will each receive €120,000 in expert guidance and training (fully or partly sponsored depending on need). Each organisation will solve a mission-critical challenge and build lasting data capabilities.
‘Many organisations have valuable data but lack the time and specialised expertise,’ says Robert Monné, Executive Director of ABW. ‘Our institute and network is ready to help accelerate their missions.’
Applications are open until 24 October 2025 (rolling review). Priority will be given to non-profits working on critical SDGs in low- and middle-income countries. Read more about the Accelerator programme, criteria and approach and amplify your impact with world-class data and AI expertise, at no cost.
ABW helps mission-driven organisations worldwide harness the power of data science. As a non-profit, we work with leading researchers and industry experts on concrete impact cases while building your team’s capabilities. More info: https://analyticsbetterworld.org/
