Necessity social entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship out of economic necessity rather than pulled by market opportunities—sometimes combined with fulfilling social needs—is attracting growing attention. This dissertation explores this phenomenon both theoretically and empirically, using in-depth empirical evidence from the Netherlands in particular.
