The usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for decision-making is rapidly increasing in today’s landscape. In order to keep the usage of AI fair, transparent and trustworthy, many are arguing for a regulatory framework. My research will focus on the perspective of the consumer in this debate. Currently we are looking at different certification entities, AI expertise and consumer skepticism. Future papers will also focus on the ethics and morality of using AI for decision-making.
