As part of the University of Amsterdam Business School the Marketing section is a leader in providing internationally recognised research and actionable insights. Examining the role business and organisations have in society, the section specifically fosters a steady exchange between theory and practice to better equip executives with the information they need to explore the effect their organisations have on internal and external stakeholders alike.
The Marketing section is home to more than 40 distinguished faculty members and international business experts, who oversee and direct a variety of undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral programmes. Although the Marketing section has grown substantially over the recent years, further growth is expected.
The focus of the Marketing faculty lies on Marketing Analytics, Modeling, Consumer Behavior and general Business Psychology, including Business Negotiations. Our group cooperates with a variety of companies, ranging from multi-national organisations to local start-ups and public services. As a result, our research and educational programmes highly benefit from these collaborations, fostering a steady exchange between theory and practice.
The Marketing group is also equipped with a Behavioral Laboratory. It offers state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, providing researchers crucial insights to further develop and test theoretical models, which in turn provide the foundation for internationally recognised research.
