'As a Greenhouse Gas Specialist with a global focus on carbon accounting and reporting, I chose to join the masterclass at the Amsterdam Business School for its Triple Crown accreditation. My goal was to deepen my understanding of the latest trends in carbon accounting and climate targets while gaining insights from credible sources and cutting-edge education.'

'Studying at the Amsterdam Business School has been an incredible experience. The facilities are easily accessible, the classrooms are clean and functional, and having lunch served in the building adds great convenience. The staff is welcoming, and the level of education is outstanding. Professors and guest lecturers are true experts in their fields, delivering knowledge in a clear and precise manner.

Through this masterclass, I gained valuable insights into climate science, global climate agreements, and carbon accounting based on the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard (Scopes 1, 2, and 3). I also learned how to address data quality challenges, set climate targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), apply the carbon budget concept, and navigate ESRS E1 Climate Change metrics. I appreciated the curriculum of the programme, the offered activities and the debates with the professor and fellow students, as well as the networking.

I would highly recommend this masterclass to professionals in the climate and greenhouse gas sector. It significantly boosted my knowledge of the latest developments in the industry, not only through insights from the professor but also through knowledge sharing with fellow students from various industries, which was truly inspiring. Additionally, earning a certification from a cutting-edge, globally renowned business school adds even more value to the experience.

While the masterclass provided a wealth of knowledge, a broader range of industry-specific practical examples would have made the content even more applicable.  Given the professor's specialisation in the banking industry, much of the content focused on that sector. As someone working in the engineered heavy lifting and transport industry on a global level, I would have appreciated more examples related to engineering and road transport or similar industries to make the insights even more applicable.'
