After four successful rounds of the ASF Thesis prize, EB UvA is excited to announce the first edition of the ASF-George Molenkamp Thesis Award.

ASF–George Molenkamp Thesis Award 2025

This year marks the first edition of the ASF–George Molenkamp Thesis Award, bringing together two important traditions at the Amsterdam Business School. The ASF Sustainable Future Prize and the George Molenkamp Sustainability Thesis Award are being merged to strengthen our recognition of outstanding Master’s theses that advance sustainability research and practice. Both awards share a common driving force: honoring academic excellence in sustainability while fostering meaningful connections between research, education, and practice.

Award details

The winning student will receive an award of €1,500, and their supervisor will be recognized with €500. The award is made possible by the A Sustainable Future (ASF) in collaboration with partners. We encourage applications from excellent (>= 8) Master’s theses from the UvA Economics and Business, which clearly fall into the field of sustainability, e.g. as outlined in ASF goals.
