Amsterdam Business School researcher Vittoria Scalera (Strategy & International Business section) recently won a Best Reviewer Award for her work with the highly ranked 'Journal of International Business' (JIBS).

Twenty individuals were selected by the JIBS Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor for the 2025 awards. The JIBS Best Reviewer Awards, introduced in 2008, recognises individuals who have consistently demonstrated dedication to the journal, as reflected in their reviews over the past year. Decision criteria include quality of each review, timeliness of each review, and the total number of reviews and/or guest editor assignments completed. Scalera will receive an award certificate and special recognition in the reviewer list published annually in the last issue of the journal.

Member of editorial review boards

Scalera was also appointed as a member of the editorial review board of JIBS and the prestigious Journal of Management. Her responsibilities include providing high-quality and timely review, helping the journals attract high-quality manuscripts, and contributing to journal’s initiative and developments. Candidates for the review board are nominated by the journals’ editors. They have demonstrated outstanding quality in past reviews and contributed to the journal’s activities.
