Burcu Kücükkeles (ABS Strategy and International Business section) co-authored a publication in the latest edition of MIT Sloan 'Management Review' on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the innovation process.

Specifically, the authors looked at the process of how existing knowledge is repurposed during a crisis to power ultrafast innovation. They subsequently came up with five core principles of repurposing. The article explains how managers across industries and organizations that need to rapidly innovate in the face of crises can use these principles as drivers of innovation.
