Follow these steps to apply for the September 2026 intake.
Make sure to register in Studielink and submit your full application in Embark before the deadline that applies to you.
You are applying for a scholarship | 15 January 2026 |
You require a Visa and/or want to apply for UvA Housing | 1 April 2026 |
You would like to apply for UvA Housing | 1 April 2026 |
You do not want to apply for UvA Housing | 1 May 2026 |
1 June 2026 (or 1 April 2026 if you require a new Visa/Residence permit)
The entry requirements depend on where you have completed your prior education.
Studielink is the national registration system for students applying to Dutch universities. When registering, you will be asked to choose the track that interests you most.
Please note: This is not your full application. You need to submit all your documents in Embark (see step 5) for us to assess your eligibility.
After registering in Studielink, you will receive your UvAnetID. Use it to log in to SIS and view your personalised enrolment checklist with all next steps for completing your enrolment.
Upload and submit all required documents in Embark to complete your application. Remember to keep track of the deadlines to ensure your application is submitted on time.
After you have been admitted, make sure to pay your tuition fee on time. The deadline is 31 August 2026.
