'You decide how, when and where you study'

Linde Erinkveld - Entrepreneurship & Management in the Creative Industries

'I have always been interested in the industries of television, music and art. It was the combination of creativity and business that made me choose the EMCI track. It has been beyond my expectations. I have gained so much in-depth knowledge on specific industries, like which strategies are chosen in releasing a movie. Also, I met people with similar passions and ambitions.'

'Studying at the Amsterdam Business School means being free in how, where and when you study. There are many study spots around campus and cozy cafés. I prefer to go to the library during the exams preparation week; being surrounded by people who are in the same "study-mode" encourages me to read on.

'I do love the buzz of the city though! I grew up in a rural area of the Netherlands and wanted to move to a more bustling place. Now, after living in Amsterdam for over a year, I still find new places to explore every day.'

'Besides studying, I had a job at a media company during my Master’s. I also took classes at CREA, the cultural student centre of the UvA. Whether you’re interested in roller-skate dancing like me, or other skills like theatre or digital media, there are many options.'

'After graduation I started working in sales, but soon found out it did not suit me. So right now I am applying for jobs in digital marketing in the creative industries.'
