  1. You are enrolling for a two-year period. The course fee for the first year of study (the 2023-2024 academic year) is €6,800. This amount is adjusted annually. For the second year of study, you will be charged the rate applicable for that academic year.
  2. If you do not graduate within the standard two-year period, you will receive invoices for each subsequent semester, each totalling half of that year’s course fee, until you graduate or terminate your enrolment.
  3. If you enrol in September, your year of study will run from September to August. If you enrol in February, you will receive an invoice covering the period from February 2024 to August 2024. Following that, in September 2024, you will receive another yearly invoice for the 2024-2025 academic year. Finally, in September 2025, you will receive another invoice for the last half-year, which equals half of the course fee for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.
  4. If you do not graduate within the standard two-year period, you will receive invoices for each subsequent semester, each totalling half of that year’s course fee, until you graduate or terminate your enrolment.
  5. Course fees are the same for all students, regardless of the number of courses they take.
  6. Your enrolment in a degree programme becomes official when you meet all admission requirements and receive confirmation of your enrolment.
  7. Once you are accepted onto a programme and your enrolment is official, you will be required to pay the course fee. If it is later discovered that you were admitted based on inaccurate or incomplete information, your enrolment will be terminated retroactively. In general, no course fee refunds will be issued and your payment obligation stands.
    a) If you start in September, invoices for the course fees will be sent annually for the first two years and then semi-annually.
    b) If you start in February, you will first receive a semi-annual invoice, followed by an annual invoice and then another semi-annual invoice. If you do not graduate within the standard period, you will subsequently receive semi-annual invoices.
    c) Education is exempt from VAT. Any amounts mentioned here do not include study materials.
  8. Your enrolment covers the entire duration of the degree programme and automatically renews annually until you graduate or terminate your enrolment.
  9. You have the option to cancel or terminate your enrolment free of charge on an annual basis, up to one month before the start of the new academic year.
  10. Cancellation or termination of enrolment can only be requested in writing and is only valid upon receipt of confirmation.
  11. If cancellation or termination is received within one month before the start of the new academic year, you are liable for €1,000 in administration fees.
  12. If cancellation or termination is received after the start of the academic year, you are liable for the full course fee for the entire academic year.
  13. Separate enrolment is required for any deficiency courses. Enrolment for these courses is not covered by these enrolment conditions.
  14. Course fees must be paid within 30 days of receiving the invoice. Failure to do so may result in the UvA transferring the collection to a collection agency. Any additional costs will be your responsibility.
  15. A degree certificate will only be issued when all payment obligations have been met.
  16. You, as the student, remain ultimately responsible for ensuring timely and complete payment of course fees, irrespective of any arrangements made with your employer or third parties.
  17. Your enrolment is subject to the Teaching and Examination Regulations, which can be found on the degree programme website. By submitting your enrolment, you confirm that you have read and understood these regulations.
  18. In the event of insufficient submissions for enrolment, the Amsterdam Business School reserves the right not to start a degree programme at a specific entry date. Enrolled students will receive written notification of this decision no later than one month before the start of the programme. Course fees already paid will be refunded in full, with no entitlement to compensation in any form.
