Our part-time programme is designed for ambitious professionals wishing to pursue an academic degree alongside their regular employment. The structure and pace of our programme will help you to earn the title of Master of Science in 18 months. Because we keep our classes small, you have all the opportunities to interact with your fellow students and lecturers.
If you do not have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from a research university in a business field, you can first take our pre-Master’s programme for a maximum of half a year.
If you already have an academic degree, you can broaden your knowledge of Business Administration with our 18-month part-time programme. Our lecturers all have a doctoral degree and are at the forefront of business administration research. They will invite you to discuss and form your own view on a wide variety of operational as well as strategic issues that companies face today and in the future.
By applying theory to exciting real-world cases and to your own organisation, your learning curve will be steep, helping you to become a leader in your management field of interest.
The Executive Programme in Management Studies allows you to study business success from three important angles: Strategy, Digital Business and Leadership & Management. You can choose on which field of management you want to focus by selecting one of those three tracks. You can also deepen or extend your track with two electives from the same or another discipline. Regardless of the track or elective that you choose, you will earn the same MSc title in Management Studies.
During the programme, you only attend lectures on Fridays between 9:00 and 17:00: 2 lectures, each taking more or less 3 hours. One day per week you can fully focus on your studies, together with your fellow students. All lectures, in small groups, will be held on the Roeterseiland Campus, in the centre of Amsterdam.
During the intensive 18-month programme, you will learn and work together with motivated fellow students, all with different backgrounds and from a wide variety of industries. We keep our classes small to give you the opportunity to interact with your fellow students during the lectures.
Interact with our dedicated academic experts, all actively participating in scientific research and following all recent developments in their respective fields. On top of that, you will meet industry experts, who are invited to teach or supervise guest lectures and electives.
As a participant in our programme, you also get access to our alumni network and special alumni events, putting you into direct contact with representatives from a wide range of leading national and international companies.
Expect interesting lectures and guest lectures from enthusiastic academic and industry experts. You have plenty of opportunity to ask individual questions and discuss answers with lecturers thanks to the small size of the groups.
Your academic thinking will be challenged by discussing theory and having you apply the acquired knowledge to real business cases as well as to your own company.
You will team up with fellow students to find solutions for complex business issues, offering you the opportunity to widen your perspective and have a great learning experience.
