The Management of International Business and Trade track offered by UvA Economics and Business (EB) is ranked joint 9th worldwide in the QS International Trade Rankings 2027 for MBA and master’s programmes. The track achieved a particularly high score for industry engagement.

Part of the Master's Business Administration, the track is jointly offered by Amsterdam Business School and Amsterdam School of Economics at EB. It combines business and economics perspectives to help students understand international trade and global business. Students learn to manage international operations, respond to geopolitical and economic changes, and develop sustainable business strategies.

'A top-ten position is a great signal for prospective students and employers alike. It shows that our graduates are being well-prepared for careers at the intersection of international business, economics, and policy. It also reflects the commitment of our academic staff and partner organisations to rigorous, challenge-based, and internationally oriented education', said MSc Business Administration  Programme Director Michiel Tempelaar.
