The EAR Best Reviewer Award is presented annually at the European Accounting Association (EAA) Annual Congress, which took place at the end of May in Prague. The award is based on a careful assessment of the journal’s reviewer statistics. In selecting the winner, the editors consider the number of reviews completed for the journal, the quality of the reports as evaluated by the handling editors, and the timeliness with which the reviews are delivered.

This year, a single award was presented, selected from a pool of more than 500 reviewers. As a reviewer, Thuerheimer offers constructive feedback on academic submissions. Her input helps authors strengthen their work while assessing the quality and scientific rigour of the papers to inform publication decisions.
