Hervé Le Faou
Hervé Le Faou currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at HEINEKEN, the world’s most international brewer. HEINEKEN operates in over 70 countries globally and is committed to surprising and exciting consumers everywhere. Since joining HEINEKEN in 2016, Hervé has been leading a transformational programme within the Global Procurement function. He has worked previously at Unilever, Danone, Cadbury, Kraft-Heinz prior to joining HEINEKEN. He graduated from Arts et Metiers “Grande École” in Mechanical Engineering.
Zakir Karim
Zakir Karim is 37 years old, and he is currently the Senior Strategy & Marketing Director for Unilever Europe and member of the European Board. Under his role, Zakir is responsible for defining & driving the strategy in Europe (Unilever biggest cluster with over €10Bn) and build the marketing capabilities of over 600 marketeers in the region. Zakir has a master’s in computer science & business management and a post-master degree in Corporate Finance.

Eppo van Nispen
Eppo van Nispen is the CEO of the Netherlands Institute of Sound and Vision, the second biggest audiovisual archive in the world. Sound and Vision also has a museum that is visited by 300.000 visitors each year and is one of the most renowned scientific institutes studying how people use media. Eppo is also president of a national thinktank dealing with socialisation of analytics (Big Data).
Jendrik Timm
Jendrik Timm leads the strategy & data team at Videoland, the subscription video on demand service of Dutch TV broadcaster RTL. In his team it’s all about analysing consumer behavior and translating these insights into a clear growth strategy. Prior to Videoland, Jendrik worked in corporate strategy at RTL and at German media publisher Gruner + Jahr where he helped manage the digital transformation.
Patrick Alders
Co-Founder of We Are Free Agents, accelerators and change managers in media and entertainment. Clients include Fremantle Media, Liberty Global, XITE Networks International and Chantal Janzen. Patrick started his career exposing the real reasons why and when people avoid TV advertising during his time at the Dutch audience measurement institution GFK Intomart.

Marelle van Beerschoten
Marelle van Beerschoten, who studied Business Studies at the University of Amsterdam, is Founder of Digital Shapers. With Digital Shapers she enlarges the digital mindset of organizations, and accelerates data driven transformation. Her motto is that you need to adapt in order to survive, a process she experienced herself several times in entrepreneurship.
Luca Corrieri
Luca Corrieri is an alumnus of the UvA’s MSc. BA Entrepreneurship & Innovation. In 2014, Luca joined Scribbr, a Dutch proofreading and editing startup for students, as the team’s 4th and first international team member. During his Master studies, Luca was responsible for launching 8 new language versions of Scribbr’s platform after the company decided to expand outside of the Netherlands and further into the European market. Since then, Scribbr has grown to become one of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands with more than 50 new team members and over 500 editors. Luca proudly manages Scribbr’s largest and most competitive sector, the German market, and leads Scribbr’s German digital marketing team, which helps more than 10.000 students each day.
Aart van Veller
Aart van Veller is the founder of Vandebron. With his company, Aart shows that entrepreneurs can truly make an impact and change the system from within. He feels sustainability is not about consuming less, it is about consuming smarter. Tackling issues in a different way, Aart shows that you can be sustainable without changing quality of life.
He founded his first sustainable company after a trip to the North Pole at age 22. In 2011 he was appointed ‘Young Global Shaper’ by the World Economic Forum and in 2012 he was the youngest Dutch person to participate in the annual WEF meeting in Davos. In 2014 he was the youngest person on the list of 100 most influential people in The Netherlands.
Aart currently focuses on the growth of his latest company Vandebron. Vandebron enables consumers in The Netherlands to buy their energy directly from independent sustainable producers. He also introduced a new business model that stimulates using less energy.
