The city of Hangzhou is widely recognized as a leading global hub for AI, entrepreneurship, and innovation. During the visit, the delegation met with colleagues from Zhejiang University, one of China’s leading research institutions and renowned for its strengths in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The delegation also visited several startups and innovation sites within the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, including the Alibaba Innovation Campus and Deep Robotics, one of China’s prominent “Little AI Dragon” startups. The visit explored opportunities for future collaboration in research, teaching, and impact.
