Angelo Tomaselli (ABS Entrepreneurship & Innovation section) has been awarded a NWO KIEM grant for his research project ‘Discovering the determinants of intellectual curiosity in the “over-the-top” industry’.

Online video streaming is a growing trend. The project explores which video elements, such as image, background music, objects, activate video consumers' intellectual curiosity about unknown cultural elements (language, history, customs etc.).
The results will offer new insights about consumers' preferences, opportunities to increase consumers’ cultural knowledge and to generate interactive videos.

Creative Industry - Knowledge Innovation Mapping (KIEM)

NWO awarded grants to fifteen projects in the Creative Industry – Knowledge Innovation Mapping programme (KIEM). A KIEM grant of €15.000 enables researchers to set up collaborative initiatives between knowledge institutions and private parties.
