The University of Amsterdam's Research Centre for Sustainable Investments and Insurance (RSCII) invites you to the Second Amsterdam Sustainable Finance conference. The conference takes place at the Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club in Amsterdam. This year's theme is 'Investor Democracy: who really gets a voice in sustainable investment decisions?'

The conference features 2 keynote speakers: Oliver Hart (Harvard, Nobel Prize winner) speaking on the democratic gap in finance and shareholder involvement, and Laura Starks (University of Texas at Austin), one of the leading global scholars in sustainable finance.

Registration and fees

The event runs as a full day with lunch. Spots are limited. Academics attend free of charge; non-academic participants pay a 500 euro fee. If you are interested in attending, please complete and submit the registration form before the 15 March 2026 deadline.
