Sandra Schafhäutle is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam Business School since September 2017. Her research primarily focuses on the use of information in capital markets, corporate disclosure, and transparency and disclosure incentives, with a special and developing interest in topics that lie at the intersection of accounting and environmental economics. During her studies, she spent a year as a visiting PhD student at University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She holds an MSc in International Business from University of Maastricht, School of Business and Economics, and a BSc in Economics from University Konstanz. Sandra has also professional working experience. She worked as a consultant in Financial Services at KPMG Germany and as an Intern in Quality Management and Procurement at Georg Fischer in Sydney, Australia.
