Máté Széles is a PhD candidate since September 2016. He obtained a BSc in Finance and Accounting and a BSc in Business Administration and Management at Corvinus University of Budapest, and an MSc in Accounting and Control at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Máté worked as Executive Compensation Intern at EY Netherlands. For his MSc thesis he examined how the regulatory change provided by the JOBS Act affects executive compensation in the US. Máté is currently working on research projects related to CEO inside debt holdings, bank CEO compensation and proxy advisors. Máté is involved in teaching activities as tutor of the Financial Statement Analysis course at the bachelor level and as supervisor of bachelor and master theses.
