The Economics and Business Ethics Committee aims to assess the ethical aspects of research carried out under the responsibility of the Faculty's staff.
It formulates rules for conducting scientific research and compliance with conditions for ethical behaviour and academic integrity. The committee's main initial focus has been on assessing research proposals using field or laboratory experiments, such as those carried out at the behavioural economics CREED lab. A further extension towards the development of guidelines that account for the wide variety and specific characteristics of business studies is under way. This is taking place with the involvement of ABS researchers and in collaboration with the ABS research institute.
