Valuating and exercising investments and trades

Courses in the field of Asset Management look into valuating and exercising investments and trades. You study different asset classes such as derivatives and discuss different investment strategies by different players involved in the financial area. 

You can choose from 3 different modules on Technology in Finance.

  • Investments and Algorithmic Trading

    You learn more about core financial concepts and theories related to different types of investments, and how to apply these concepts to practical problems faced by financial professionals.

    Schedule in academic year 2019-2020:*

    Lectures: September-October, once a week on Wednesday:
    4, 11, 18, 25, September; 2, 9 October
    tutorials (optional): 25 September, 19:00-21:00 and 18 October, 17:00-18:30
    Times: 18:30-22:00
    Assessment: In-house exam, on Wednesday:
    23 October 2019, 18:30-22:00

  • Financial Derivatives

    You will get the necessary skills to design, value, and manage risks using derivatives contracts.

  • Advanced Asset Management

    You learn how to bridge the gap between the Investments and Algorithmic Trading course and today’s investment practices, both at the level of households and at the level of institutional investors.
