ABS professor appointed honorary chair at top German university

Enrico Perotti (UvA Economics and Business professor of International Finance) was recently appointed as Reinhard Selten Chair in Economic Theory at the University of Bonn, a highly ranked economics school in Germany.
His appointment was in recognition of his contribution to contract theory.
The chair was established in honor of Reinhard Selten, a prominent German game theorist who won the Nobel prize in Economic Sciences in 1994.Prof Perotti will remain on the faculty at the Amsterdam Business School, but will give doctoral lectures at the University of Bonn each year. Last year Prof Perotti was also appointed as Research Fellow at the Law and Finance Institute at Goethe University in Frankfurt.
