Presentation of European Box Medal 2019 to Ronald Does

Ronald Does, Professor of Industrial Statistics at the Amsterdam Business School (ABS), received the European Box Medal 2019 during the awards ceremony of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics held on 3 September.
This was the 17th occasion on which the medal was presented.
Notable winners
Does has made a name for himself in the world of industrial statistics and he now joins other notables who have won the Box Medal in the past: George E.P. Box, Soren Bisgaard, Sir David Cox, Douglas Montgomery and William H. Woodall.
Does is the first to receive two prestigious medals in one year (Shewart and Box).
