De Persgroep (a leading publisher of national, regional and local media) is launching its own training programme for its data professionals in collaboration with The Analytics Academy (an initiative of the Amsterdam Business School, Ortec and Amsterdam Data Science).

De Persgroep intends to transform itself into a data-driven organisation and wants to emphasise the importance of data in the programme. The focus of this in-company programme, involving ABS staff such as Alex Kuiper and Hans Borgman, will be on improving the technical skills of data analysts and data engineers.
