Essay contest - win a €3,000 scholarship

Win a €3,000 scholarship and get your MSc in International Finance (MIF) at a top-ranked executive finance programme.

The finance industry can play a key role in addressing social and environmental issues. At Amsterdam Business School we believe it is very important that future leaders in finance are fully aware of the impact that ESG can have. For us it is important that our graduates actively drive new initiatives in promoting sustainable finance.

Promoting finance leadership for environmental and social impact

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are key strategic pillars of the Amsterdam Business School. To emphasise this, the MIF programme offers five €3,000 scholarships for candidates who demonstrate ideas or experience in sustainable finance.

Write an essay on how you can make a difference by applying ideas on sustainable finance. Share examples and describe impacts – relevant topics are impact investing, climate change, sustainability, inclusion, diversity, and so on.

Who can participate?

MIF candidates, either full-time or part-time, who are admitted to the Executive MSc in International Finance programme starting in September 2022.

Additional requirements:

The candidate needs to have completed an analytical test before the scholarship deadline. The eligible tests are GMAT, GRE, Executive Assessment, and SHL. If you were exempt from the analytical test requirement in the admission process, you can take the SHL test in order to enter the scholarship contest.

How to enter the scholarship contest

Submit an essay of maximum 600 words. Acceptable formats are MS Word and Pdf.

Deadline

31 May 2022, 23:59 CEST.
The scholarship winners will be contacted individually on 15 June 2022.
