Requirements for MSc programme
You will be admitted to the MSc programme directly if you have an academic Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Business Administration or a business-related field, or another academic degree including sufficient courses about business and statistics.
If you have an academic degree in a different field, you may have to follow a number of courses from our pre-Master’s programme before you can enter the MSc programme.
If you have a degree from a university of applied sciences (HBO), you will have to follow the pre-Master’s programme from Amsterdam Business School to be admitted.
Please note: An important admissions requirement is that you are working and living in the Netherlands during your studies. The programme does not provide any services related to finding employment, arranging housing or visa.
Requirements for pre-Master’s programme
If you are not yet eligible for the Master’s programme but you meet the requirements below, you can apply for the pre-Master's programme. Successful completion of the pre-Master’s programme guarantees you direct access to the Master's programme.
- Successfully completed higher education programme
You have an academic degree (Bachelor or Master) without quantitative courses and business courses such as strategy, marketing or human resource management.
Alternatively, you have a university of applied sciences degree (240 ECTS, HBO in Dutch) with sufficient business administration subjects.
- Courses in mathematics
You have taken mathematics courses as part of your secondary education. Dutch prospective students should have a university preparatory education (VWO) or senior general secondary education (HAVO) degree including mathematics.
If you do not have a HAVO or VWO diploma, you may be required to take an entry test in mathematics at Amsterdam Business School.
