"Bringing AI from the Academic World to the Streets of the City"
|Date||18 January 2022|
Artificial intelligence will change how cities operate and how it is to be a citizen of a city. If it is up to the City of Amsterdam this will be a positive change that is beneficial to the inhabitants and the visitors of Amsterdam.
During this presentation Maarten Sukel, next to doing his PhD at ABS, is also AI lead at the City of Amsterdam, and will talk about how the City of Amsterdam is using AI responsibly for the city. For example by scanning the streets of the city with computer vision to find garbage, and collect it more efficiently while respecting the citizens privacy. Or how AI is can be used to see if the city is accessible for all.
This seminar will be organised via Zoom. If you are interested in joining this seminar, please send an email to the secretariat of Amsterdam Business School at email@example.com.
