MIF

Tuition Fee September 2017 (€ 26,900)

The tuition fee for the full- and part-time Master in International Finance (MIF) programmes starting in August/September 2017 is €26,900.

The fee covers the whole programme including courses, international study trip, use of the MIF facilities, university registration and examination fees. The fee does not cover text books, living expenses and accommodation.

You can pay your tuition fee in equal instalments spread over the duration of the programme (in total 3 instalments for full-time students and 6 instalments for part-time students).

Enrolment fee

If you are admitted to the programme, you will be required to pay an enrolment fee of €2,000 to secure your place in the MIF class. This enrolment fee is part of the tuition fee.

Early signing bonus

Students that sign the admissions contract and pay the enrolment fee of € 2,000 within 1 week of the date of Admissions (specified on the top of the Admissions Letter) will automatically receive an Early Signing Bonus of € 1,000. The Early Signing Bonus will be deducted from the total tuition.

Late Minute discount (€1,000)

Applicants that apply to the Master in International Finance programme before 1 May 2017 are eligible for a Last Minute discount of  €1,000. 

Applicants need to submit the following required documents:

  • a copy of their passport
  • a letter of motivation
  • diploma and transcript
  • IELTS or TOEFL (unless you are exempted)
  • Full-time applicants: GMAT/GRE test results
  • Part-time applicants: GMAT or Intellectual Capacity Test results
  • 2 Recommendation letters

Do you want to apply but have you planned the GMAT/GRE test in the coming months? Please note that you can already apply and send the test result later. We need the test results in before 1 July 2017.

Tuition fee is tax-deductible

For applicants to the part-time programme who are working in the Netherlands, it is useful to know that the tuition fee is tax-deductible. For more information, contact the tax authorities or click on the link below.

ING & ASR Partnerships (10%discount)

Applicants that are working for ING N.V. and ASR that enroll through their Learning Center will receive a 10% discount on the total tuition fee.

UvA alumni tuition fee (10% discount)

The tuition fee for UvA alumni is €24.210.  UvA alumni who apply before 1 March 2016 are eligible for an early-bird tuition fee.

Pay tuition fee at once (5% discount)

Applicants who are planning to pay their tuition fee at once and before 30 April 2017, will receive a reduction of 5% on their tuition fee.

Pre-Master MIF

The fee for the ABS Pre-Master MIF programme is €4,000.

Candidates that are admitted to the MIF programme and have completed the ABS Pre-Master MIF have the possibility to be exempted from the MIF pre-course training and GMAT/GRE/Intellectual Capacity test.

They are eligible for an early bird discount of €4,000 on the tuition fee of  €26,900.

Intellectual Capacity Test for part-time students (€100)

Part-time students without a GMAT or GRE need to do Intellectual Capacity test to meet the requirements. This is a qualification tool to enroll the programme. The fee for the test is €100.
