FinTech & Blockchain master class

30 and 31 May

8 March 2017

ABS is launching a new Open Programme: the Executive Master Class Blockchain and FinTech. Blockchain is the biggest IT-revolution since the internet. Blockchain technology allows all transactions of value to be programmed so that they are recorded in a digital ledger.

This development will cause major changes not only in the financial industry, but in the fields of real estate, taxation, law, governance and auditing as well.

The Amsterdam Business School Executive Programmes offers a two-day masterclass on FinTech & Blockchain on 30 and 31 May that introduces participants to digital currencies, emerging mobile payment systems and their underlying technology. Participants will learn about the experiences so far with Blockchain and Bitcoin in lectures presented by professor David Yermack, an expert in the field from NYU Stern Business School, who was invited by ABS Dean Marc Salomon.

This master class is being marketed by ABS-EP in collaboration with Elsevier. For more information contact Susan Nuijten at 020-5256134 or via executive-education@uva.nl.
