Joris Ebbers to present NWO-KIEM research
On Friday, 27 October, Dr Joris Ebbers (ABS Entrepreneurship and Innovation section) and Prof. Wouter Stam (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) will present the results of their NWO-KIEM (Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research - Knowledge Innovation Mapping) research project 'Multiplex networks in creative industries incubators and firm performance'.
This is a collaboration between B. Amsterdam (a shared innovative workspace in Amsterdam), the University of Amsterdam (UvA), the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA).
From 12:30 to 14:30, students from the HvA will first present the results of their design sprint. The purpose of this sprint was to design (a mix of) digital tools to facilitate entrepreneurs in B. Amsterdam in meeting potentially useful business partners in the building using any of B. Amsterdam’s touchpoints. From 15:00 to 16:30, Joris Ebbers will present the results of his study about informal networks between entrepreneurs in B. Amsterdam and speak about how these networks are valuable.
The event takes place in B. Amsterdam. You are welcome to attend the research presentation from 15:00 to 16:30. If you are interested in attending please register by emailing Joris Ebbers: firstname.lastname@example.org.
